Abstract

Self-Efficacy is a person's self-confidence in his abilities that he can carry out and complete the tasks given to meet the goals he wants to achieve. Locus of Control is a personality variable, which is defined as an individual's belief in whether or not they are able to control their own destiny. Performance is an achievement obtained from the results of all work activities carried out within a certain period of time to achieve organizational goals.  PT. PLN Siborongborong Branch has tried to improve the performance of each employee, so employees must be able to optimize their abilities to do their work. Leader of PT. PLN (Persero) Siborongborong Branch always strives to increase employee Self Efficacy and Locus of Control. To provide opportunities for employees to develop their potential to support better performance. This research aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy and locus of control on employee performance at PT. PLN (Persero) Siborongborong Branch. This research uses a quantitative method, namely by processing data obtained from the company. Then it is analyzed using a theoretical basis as a tool to solve the problems faced and then draw a conclusion. The sample in this study was 32 people using a saturated sampling technique, namely a technique for determining if all members of the population are used as samples. By using the help of the SPSS 25.0 program. The correlation coefficient value for the Self Efficacy variable on employee performance is 0.927, so the coefficient found is in the very strong category. The variable Locus of Control on Employee Performance is 0.781, so the coefficient found is in the Strong category. The coefficient of determination obtained is 0.892. This shows that the influence of Self Efficacy and Locus of Control is 89.2% on employee performance (Y). while the remaining 10.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this research. The results obtained from the multiple regression equation Y = 2.651 + 0.638X1 + 0.272X2 can be explained that if Self Efficacy (X1) and Locus of Control (X2) are constant or X = 0 then the Employee Performance value will increase by 2.651. The results of the t test and F test in this research show that the hypothesis is accepted that there is a partial or simultaneous influence between Self Efficacy (X1) and Locus of Control (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. PLN (Persero) Siborongborong Branch.
