Abstract

The better the governance and the quality of services provided, the higher the public trust (high trust)". Public trust will be higher if the community gets good service and feels satisfied with the service. Decree of the Minister of Administrative Reform (Kepmenpan) Number 63 of 2003 concerning General Guidelines for the Implementation of Public Services states that, "The measure of the success of service delivery is determined by the level of satisfaction of service recipients. Service satisfaction is achieved if the service recipient gets the service as needed and expected ". Therefore, every service provider periodically conducts a Community Satisfaction Index survey. The types and sources of data used are Primary data is data obtained from the Lobu Siregar I Village, Siborong Borong District, North Tapanuli Regency and Secondary data is data obtained by the author from data that has been published in the form of books or magazines. Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to a sample of 62 people can be obtained results that the value of the relationship or influence of employee work quality on community satisfaction through statistical testing is 0.739 categorized in a very strong level. The coefficient of determination of the data is 65.7% and the remaining 34.3% is influenced by other factors. The results of the regression calculation Y = 16.031 + 0.542 X in the sense that if the value of employee work quality increases by 1, the increase in community satisfaction increases by 0.542. The results of hypothesis testing are known through the t test, namely the value of tcount> ttable, namely 2.908> 2.000, it is concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the quality of employee work on community satisfaction in Lobu Siregar I Village, Siborong Borong District, North Tapanuli Regency.
