EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN SISTEM INFORMASI DESA DALAM PEMBANGUNAN DESA NAHORNOP MARSADA KECAMATAN PAHAE JAE KABUPATEN TAPANULI UTARA

Abstract

This research aims to find out how effective the implementation of village information systems is in village development in Nahorop Marsada village, Pahae Jae District, North Tapanuli Regency. The method and type of research used is qualitative descriptive research where data collection is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, the number of informants was 4 people consisting of the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Office Staff and the Nahorop Marsada Village Community, Pahae Jae District, North Tapanuli Regency. This research uses 8 indicators to measure the effectiveness of implementing the village information system in Nahorop Marsada Village, Pahae Jae District, North Tapanuli Regency, namely Information Quality, Ease of Use, Operational Speed and Efficiency, Support for Decision Making, System Sustainability and Maintenance, Community Participation and Involvement, Transparency and Accountability.

The results of this research show that the effectiveness of implementing the village information system in Nahorop Marsada Village, Pahae Jae District, North Tapanuli Regency has made a significant contribution to improving the quality of information obtained by the people of Nahorop Marsada Village, Pahae Jae District, North Tapanuli Regency. Implementing a village information system also helps facilitate more targeted decision making. Apart from that, implementing a village information system also strengthens community participation in the village development process through transparency and accountability of information provided to village communities. The inhibiting factor in implementing the Nahorop Marsada village information system is the lack of human resources in Nahorop Marsada village and the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of the village information system. Apart from that, village information systems can also be an effective tool in supporting village development if implemented well according to existing indicators.
