Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze how the influence of Training on the Performance of Balige Beach Hotel Employees. Balige District, Toba Regency. The sample in this study is 32 employees of the Balige Beach Hotel. The data research design used is quantitative research. And data collection in the form of observation, and distribution of questionnaires. Meanwhile, the processing of analytical data for validity and reality tests uses Alpha Cronbach using the computer assistance of the SPSS version 21 program. The results of the research and discussion showed that the correlation coefficient value of 0.819 can be concluded that there is a very strong relationship between Training (X) and Employee Performance (Y) of Balige Beach Hotel, Balige District, Toba Regency. Based on the results of the SPSS 21.00 calculation above, it can be seen that the significance value is 0.000<0.05 which means that there is a significant relationship between Training and Employee Performance. R Square by 67.0%. This shows that the influence of Training on the Performance of Employees of Balige Beach Hotel, Balige District, Toba Regency is 67.0% and the remaining 33% is influenced by other factors that are not discussed in this study. The regression equation Y = 5.735 + 0.460 (X) can be concluded that the value of the constant (a) obtained at 5.735 means that, if the value of X = 0, then the consistent value of the Employee Performance variable (Y) is 5.735. The value of the regression coefficient of the X variable obtained at 0.460 states that every time the value of Training (X) increases, the value (Y) increases by 0.460. The regression coefficient has a positive value, so it can be said that the direction of the influence of variable X on variable Y is positive. The calculation value is 7,804. Then the value is compared with the table with an error level of 5% df = n-2 = 30. The value of the table is 1,697. In accordance with the conditions of hypothesis testing that (7,804) >  (1,697) or sig  0,000 < 0,05 can be concluded that Training (X) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Balige Beach Hotel, Balige District, Kabaputen Toba, then the hypothesis is accepted.
