Abstract

Developing human resources and good work facilities is considered one way to improve company performance. Because every company certainly wants its employees to develop according to expectations. The company strives to maximize employees by developing human resources and work facilities not only to achieve business goals, but for the survival and sustainability of the company's future. This research was carried out at PT. PLN (Persero) Siborongborong. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of HR Development (X1) and Work Facilities (X2) on employee performance (Y), both partially and simultaneously.The sample in this research was 26 people using the saturated sampling method. Data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. The method used in this research is quantitative analysis methods, namely validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple correlation test, determination test, multiple linear regression test and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS 25.0. The correlation coefficient value of the HR development variable on employee performance is 0.702, so the coefficient found is in the strong category. The work facilities variable on employee performance is 0.721, so the coefficient found is in the strong category. The coefficient of determination test result is 0.599. This value illustrates that the contribution of the independent variables (HR Development and Work Facilities) to the variation in the dependent variable (Performance) is 60% and the remaining 40% is the contribution of other variables not examined in this research. The results of the multiple regression equation are Y = 2.597 + 0.401X1+ 0.303X2. It can be explained that if HR development (X₁) and work facilities (X2) are constant or X=0 then the employee performance value will increase by 2.597. The results of the t test and F test in this research hypothesis are accepted that there is a partial or simultaneous influence between HR Development (X1) and Work Facilities (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT PLN (Persero) Siborongborong.
