Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of work communication on the work effectiveness of 17 employees at the Sipoholon sub-district office, North Tapanuli Regency.

The data collection tools used were observation, interviews and questionaires. To calculate the closeness of the relationship between variables using a simple correlation coefficient, the results obtained show that Work Communication (X) on Employee Work Effectiveness (Y) of 0.818 is in the very strong category.

The coefficient of determination obtained was 0.669% or 66.9%.  This shows that theinfluence of Work Communication (X) on Employee Work Effectiveness (Y) at the Sipoholon Subdistrict Office, North Tapanuli Regencyi is 66.9% and the remaining 33.1% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this research.

From the caluculation results, through simple linear regression calculations the line equation is Y=5.981 + 0.577

Hypothesis testing results tcount 5.510 > ttable1.753 this means that the Work Communication variable (X) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Work Effectiveness at the Sipoholon Subdistrict Office, North Tapanuli Regency, so the research hypothesis is accapted.
