Abstract

A work environment that is centralizing for its employees can produce good performance. Conversely, an unsupportive work environment will give poor performance results. At this time the environment must be designed or managed in accordance with the existing culture in the company to form a comfortable working relationship for workers with their environment in order to improve employee work results. A comfortable work environment is one that is safe, serene, clean, quiet, bright and free from all kinds of threats and disturbances that can prevent employees from working optimally. A conducive work environment will have a good impact on the continuity of employee work, on the contrary, a less conducive work environment will have a negative impact on the continuity of employee work. The types and sources of data used are primary data is data obtained from the employees of PT. Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Nusantara Bona Pasogit 10 Humbang Hasundutan Regency and secondary data is data obtained by the author from data that has been published in the form of books or magazines. Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to a sample of 35 people can be obtained results that the value of the relationship or influence of the work environment on employee performance through statistical testing is 0.231 categorized in a weak level. The coefficient of determination of the data is 75.3% and the remaining 24.7% is influenced by other factors.The results of the regression calculation Y = 32.043 + 0.584X in the sense that if the value of the work environment increases by 1, the increase in employee performance increases by 0.584. The results of hypothesis testing are known through the t test, namely the value of tcount> ttable, namely 2.363> 1.692, it is concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between the work environment on employee performance at PT. Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) Nusantara Bona Pasogit 10 Humbang Hasundutan Regency.
