Abstract

Employee performance is a measure of the extent to which an employee has succeeded in achieving the goals and standards set by the company or organization where they work. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of workload and working hours on employee performance both partially and simultaneously. The variables used in this study were workload, working hours, and employee performance. This study uses Saturated Sampling, sampling determination when all members of the population are used as samples. The population in this study was 36 people and the sample used in this study was 36 people. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires (questionnaires), documentation and observation. The analysis used is Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) 22. The correlation of the Workload (X1) variable with Employee Performance is 0.726. Based on table 3.3 of the correlation coefficient interpretation guidelines, the correlation of the Workload variable (X1) with Employee Performance (Y) is included in the strong category. The correlation of the variable Working Hours (X2) with Employee Performance (Y) is 0.830. Based on table 3.3 of the correlation coefficient interpretation guidelines, the correlation of the variable Working Hours (X2) with Employee Performance (Y) is included in the strong category. R square of 74.1%, this shows that the effect of Workload (X1) and Working Hours (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tarutung is 74, % and the remaining 25.9% is influenced by factors not discussed in this study. The regression equation is Y = a + b1X1 + b2X2 = 0.376 + 0.289X1 + 0.691X2. This means that both variables, namely Workload and Working Hours simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tarutung. In accordance with the test conditions, Fcount 41.178 > Ftable 3.29. This means that these two variables, namely Workload and Working Hours simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the variable of Employee Performance at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) Tarutung. Thus the Hypothesis is accepted.
