Abstract

Lazada and Shopee are the things that Siaro Village teenagers choose to do online shopping. The excessive consumptive behavior of teenagers in Siaro Village reflects that consumptive behavior has become a trend or has become their style in carrying out daily activities, but there are also those who do this with encouragement from the environment. This becomes a problem in this lifestyle. In the beginning, shopping was a concept that showed an attitude of getting goods that are daily necessities by exchanging a sum of money as a replacement for the goods, but now the concept of shopping has developed into a reflection of lifestyle and recreation among teenagers. Shopping is a lifestyle in itself which has even become a hobby for a number of teenagers in Siaro Village.

The type and source of data used is primary data, namely data obtained from teenagers in Siaro Village, Siborongborong District, North Tapanuli Regency and secondary data, namely data obtained by the author from data that has been published in the form of books or magazines.

Data obtained from questionnaires distributed to a sample of 62 people showed that the relationship value or influence of online shopping on consumer behavior through statistical testing was 0.360, categorized as weak. The coefficient of determination from this data is 56.1% and the remaining 43.9% is influenced by other factors.

The results of the regression calculation are Y= 47,748+ 0.431 The results of hypothesis testing are known through the t test, namely the value of thitung > ttabel namely 2,987 > 2,000, it can be concluded that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive and significant influence between online shopping on consumer behavior among teenagers in Siaro Village during the Covid 19 Pandemic, Siborongborong District, North Tapanuli Regency.
