Abstract

This study examined the influence of motivation, career development, and career development on the performance of permanent employees at Silangit International Airport. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 63 permanent employees at Silangit International Airport. The analytical method used is a quantitative descriptive analysis by testing the data quality, classical assumptions, and hypotheses. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between the variable motivation partially on employee performance at Silangit International Airport; this can be seen from the significant motivation (X1) 0.001 <0.05 and the value of t table = t (α/2; n-k-1 = t (0.05/2; 55-2-1)=0.025;52) = 2.00665. It means that if t count > t table (3.433 > 2.00665), H1 is accepted. There is an influence between career development variables partially on employee performance at Silangit International Airport. This can be seen from the significant Career Development (X2) 0.01 <0.05 and the value of ttable= t (α/2;n-k-1= t(0.05/2; 55-2-1)=0.025;52) = 2.00665. It means that the value of t count > t table (4.024 > 2.00665), H2 is accepted. There is an influence between motivational variables and organizational career development simultaneously on employee performance at Silangit International Airport. This can be seen from, Ftable= f(k;n-k), F=(2;55-2), Ftable= (2;53)= 3.15 with an error rate of 5%, and Fcount = 3.15. it can be concluded that the value of Fcount > Ftable (30.227 > 3.15), then H3 is accepted. The linear regression equation in this study based on the analysis performed is Y=4,554 + 0,218X1 +0,430 X2.
