This research aims to find out and analyze the influence of commitment and work culture on employee job satisfaction at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency. The data analysis method used is the simple correlation analysis method, multiple linear regression analysis, t test and F test. The sample in this study was all 68 employees of the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency. The relationship between Commitment (X1) and Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) is 0.909. There is a positive relationship in the very strong category between Commitment and Job Satisfaction at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Toba Regency.
The relationship between Work Culture (X2) and Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) is 0.441. There is a positive relationship in the medium category between Work Culture and Job Satisfaction at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency.
R Square of 0.851 indicates that the influence of Commitment (X1) and Work Culture (X2) on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency is 85.10%. The multiple regression equation is as follows: Y= 3.269 + 1.202X1 + 0.169X2
The significance of the correlation variable Commitment (X1) is 16.925 (t count (16.925 > t table 1.668), it can be concluded that Commitment (X1) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency then the research hypothesis is accepted.
The correlation significance of the Work Culture variable (X2) is 3.333 (t count 3.333 > t table 1.668), it can be concluded that Work Culture (X2) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at the District Public Works and Spatial Planning Service Toba, the research hypothesis is accepted.
Fcount is 463,274 (Fcount 185,675 > Ftable 3,138). This means that the two variables, namely Commitment (X1) and Work Culture (X2) have a positive and significant influence on Employee Job Satisfaction (Y) at the Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Dan Tata Ruang of Toba Regency. Thus the research hypothesis is accepted
