Abstract

This research aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of teamwork and work motivation on employee performance at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The population in this study were all employees of the Humbang Hasundutan District Livestock and Fisheries Service, namely 30 people. The sampling technique used in this research is a saturated sampling technique, namely a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples using the SPSS 25.0 program. The results of the research and discussion carried out show that there is a correlation between the Teamwork Variable (X1) and Employee Performance (Y) at the Livestock and Fisheries Service, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Guidelines for the interpretation of the correlation coefficient, the coefficient found is 0.265. is included in the weak category, while work motivation (X2) shows that the correlation between the work motivation variable (X2) and employee performance (Y) at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Humbang Hasundutan Regency is a guide to interpreting the correlation coefficient, so the coefficient found is 0.418, which is in the medium category. R Square is 0.404 or 40.40%. This shows that the influence of Teamwork (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) is 40.40% and the remaining 59.60% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this research. So it can be concluded that the variables Teamwork (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) influence the Employee Performance variable (Y) at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Then these values are compared with ttable with an error level of 5% df = n-2 = 28. The ttable value of 3.227 is in accordance with the hypothesis testing requirements that tcount (3.227) > ttable (2.048) it can be concluded that Teamwork (X1) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Livestock and Fisheries Service of Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Then Work Motivation shows that tcount (3.888) > ttable (2.048) it can be concluded that Work Motivation (X2) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Livestock and Fisheries Service, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Then Fcount (9.156) > Ftable (3.354) which means Teamwork (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) simultaneously influence employee performance (Y).
