Leadership style is one of the key positions where a leader must be able to influence, direct and show his ability so that all company goals can be achieved in accordance with what has been set.
This study aims to determine and analyze how the influence of leadership style on employee work motivation at the Toba Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency. The data analysis method used is the simple correlation analysis method, simple linear regression analysis and t test. The population and sample in this study were all employees of the Toba Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency as many as 37 people.
The data obtained from the questionnaire distributed to a sample of 37 people obtained a correlation with the result of r count of 0.845. Based on table 3.2 Guidelines for Interpretation of the Correlation Coefficient, the coefficient found of 0.845 is very strong. So there is a relationship with a very strong relationship level between Leadership Style (X) and Employee Work Motivation (Y) at the Toba Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency. R Square is 0.715 or 71.50%. This shows that the effect of Leadership Style (X) with Employee Work Motivation (Y) at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Toba Regency is 71.50% and the remaining 28.50% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. The regression equation is Y = 6.455 + 0.931X. The regression equation above can be explained that if Leadership Style or X = 0 then the value of Employee Work Motivation or Y will increase by 6.455. The significance of the variable correlation is 9.363. Then the value is compared with the t table with an error rate of 5% df = n-2 = 35. The t table value is 2.724. The significance value is <0.05. In accordance with the hypothesis testing requirements that t count (9.363) > t table (2.724) it can be concluded that Leadership Style (X) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Work Motivation (Y) at the Tobamaka Regency Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, the research hypothesis is accepted.
