PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI PADA BADAN PENGELOLAAN PENDAPATAN DAERAH KABUPATEN TOBA

One of the factors that can encourage the improvement of human resource performance is by efforts to increase more adequate work motivation, such as the fulfillment of external needs, economic needs and achievement needs that are recognized by the community. The certainty of being able to receive wages or salaries regularly, means that there is a guarantee of "economic security" obtained along with the family that is dependent, as well as in the development of his career as a need to be able to actualize his abilities and potential.
This study aims to determine and analyze how work motivation affects employee performance at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency. The data analysis method used is the simple correlation analysis method, simple linear regression analysis and t test. The population and sample in this study were all employees at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency as many as 18 people.
The data obtained from the questionnaire distributed to a sample of 18 people obtained a correlation with the results that rcount (0.656) > r table (0.497) concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between Work Motivation (X) and Employee Performance (Y) at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency. Based on table 3.2 of the Correlation Coefficient Interpretation Guidelines, the coefficient found of 0.656 is included as Strong. So there is a strong relationship between Work Motivation (X) and Employee Performance (Y) at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency. R Square is 0.430 or 43%. This shows that the effect of Work Motivation (X) with Employee Performance (Y) at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency is 43% and the remaining 57% is influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. The regression equation is Y = 8.790 + 0.432X. The regression equation above can be explained that if Work Motivation or X = 0 then the value of Employee Performance or Y will increase by 8,790. concluded that Work Motivation (X) has a positive and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Toba Regency Regional Revenue Management Agency, so the research hypothesis is accepted.
