This research aims to find out and analyze the influence of training on employee performance at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District, Toba Regency. The population in this study were employees who worked in the factory division (factory), and the sample was 88 respondents using a sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The research data design used is quantitative research. And collecting data in the form of observations and distributing questionnaires. Meanwhile, data analysis processing for validity and reliability testing uses Alpha Cronbach using the SPSS version 22 computer program. The results of the research and discussion carried out show that the correlation coefficient value is 0.879. It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between Training (X) and Employee Performance (Y) of PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District, Toba Regency. Based on Table 3.3. Guidelines for Providing Interpretation of Correlation Coefficients, the coefficient found was 0.879, which is in the very strong category. So there is a very strong relationship between Training (X) and Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District. This shows that the influence of training on employee performance at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District, Toba Regency was 77.3% and the remaining 22.7% was influenced by other factors not discussed in this research. The Regression Equation is Y = 4.602 + 0.705(X). It can be concluded that the b value of 0.705 means that every change in variable X, namely Training, will be balanced by a change in variable Y, namely Employee Performance. Because the b value is positive (0.705), every additional training will be balanced by additional PT employee performance. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District, Toba Regency. The regression equation above can be explained that, if Training or (X) = 0 then the Employee Performance value or (Y) is 4.602, if the Training variable is increased by 1 unit, it will increase Employee Performance by 0.705. The tcount value is 17,113. Then this value is compared with ttable with an error level of 5% df = n-2 = 86. The ttable value is 1.987. In accordance with the conditions for testing the hypothesis that tcount (17.113) > ttable (1.987) it can be concluded that Training (X) has a significant and significant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at PT. Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk. Parmaksian District, Toba Regency, the hypothesis is accepted.
