PERANANANSISTEM INFORMASI MANAJEMEN DALAM PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN PADA KANTOR CAMAT PARANGINAN KABUPATEN HUMBANG HASUNDUTAN

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of management information systems in decision making at the Paranginan Subdistrict Office, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The population of this study includes 31 people plus 7 honorary employees, which is exactly 38 people.It can be concluded that the management information system has an important role in making good decisions regarding government tasks at the Paranginan District Head Office, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. Information is the main factor in the decision making process. In order for decisions taken by management to be more precise and trustworthy, they must be supported by the availability of complete information with a good information system.The research results show that: 1) If the results from the frequency of answer a are taken into account, the percentage is 567/760 x 100%, the result is 74.60%. 2). If we look at the frequency b then the percentage is: 172/760 x 100% so the result is 22.63%. 3). If we look at the frequency c then the percentage is: 20/760 x 100% so the result is 2.76%.From the results of the author's observations, it can be seen that the intensity of answers for option "a" is 74.60%, "b" is 22.63%, "c" is 2.76%. It can be concluded that the management information system plays a very important role in decision making at the Paranginan Subdistrict Office, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, namely with a percentage of respondents' answers of 74.60%.
