Abstract

Public services are often unsatisfactory and tend to ignore the aspirations and interests of the community. This dissatisfaction is caused by the low capacity of bureaucratic officials or the lack of professionalism of government officials in responding to the demands and aspirations of the community. The various phenomena above show how low the professionalism of the bureaucratic apparatus is, thereby showing how fragile the trust and legitimacy of the government and its bureaucracy are in the eyes of the public, because the government and bureaucracy have failed to position themselves as institutions that can protect and fight for the needs and interests of public services. . In accordance with the conditions for testing the hypothesis that t count (5.030) > t table (2.131) it can be concluded that Employee Work Professionalism (X) has a positive and significant influence on the Quality of Public Services (Y) at the Muara Subdistrict Office, North Tapanuli Regency, so the research hypothesis accepted.
