Human resources are a key that must be considered because human resources or labor play an important role in the success and achievement of an organizational goal. The organization itself is a collection of several people who try to carry out the goals of the organization as well as possible. The performance of an organization depends on the performance of its employees, because performance is the result of work in quality and quantity achieved by an employee to the duties and responsibilities assigned to him. The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Individual Characteristics on Employee Performance in the Transportation Office of North Tapanuli Regency. In this study, the population was all employees at the North Tapanuli Regency Transportation Office, with a total population of 67 people. The sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique because the population was relatively small, so the study sample included all employees of the North Tapanuli Regency Transportation Office of 67 people. The results of research and discussion can be obtained results that the value of the relationship of Individual Characteristics to Employee Performance through statistical testing is 0.845 categorized in the level of Very Strong relationships. Simple regression equation as follows : Y= 2.981+1.007X means that if the individual characteristic value increases by 1 then employee performance increases by 2,981. The result of the calculated value in this study is = 17,746 compared to t table 2,000, then count>table The hypothesis of this study was accepted because it was proven that Individual Characteristics had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance.
